SSF4 Tribute 7- Ascension

   Most of my life, I've looked up to him and now I finally have the chance to not only fight him but to also claim his title as my own. I enter the Wat Rong Khun temple grounds and see a freshly constructed martial arts style arena next to the white glass shrines. Thousands of spectators scream his name but they are unloyal and will soon become my fans after today's monumental bout. The match will begin shortly so I head toward my ready room and I can't help but think back to the tournament where my master became a disgrace before my eyes.

   Final round of the World Warrior's Tournament and I'm sitting on the sidelines watching Master Sagat fight some nobody named Ryu. Ryu is pinned down and unable to make a move with my master's massive knee pressed against his throat but something within him changes. Ryu's eyes flicker with a red glare like an old florescent light about to blow and somehow he finds the strength to move Master Sagat's knee away. I notice the surprised look on his face as he throws a barrage of unsuccessful Tiger shots at Ryu. The match ends when Ryu hits my master with a powerful uppercut that tares the flesh of his chest and leaves him on the ground broken and looking like a failure.

   No more time to reminisce on the past, I find myself stepping up into the arena face to face with Sagat. "So boy, do you think your strong enough to beat me? Will the pupil finally become the master?" He is trying to taunt me and there is no need for me to bite his bait but I do anyway..."The day you lost to Ryu was the day your status fell from master to clown." The announcer yells "FIGHT" before Sagat can reply and I fly at him knee first, striking the scar in his chest, but his reflexes are fast and he counters by picking me up and tossing me to the edge of the ring.

   "Hahaha boy, you still have a lot to learn, I will always be the king with you forever in my shadow." I dash toward him and attempt to sweep kick his left leg but Sagat doesn't fall, he grabs me by the neck and thrusts his right knee into my stomach, causing me to spit out a little blood. I try not to hear the crowd loudly chanting his name but it eventually gets to me and I make the mistake of looking toward the people. "Tiger uppercut", Sagat catches me by surprise with an uppercut that sends me high into the air but as he attempts to follow up with another blow, "Jaguar Assault." I dodge his jump-kick and strike Sagat with repeated punches and elbow strikes until he staggers like a drunken sailor and clenches the scar of failure on his chest.

   My speed is my advantage against Sagat so I use it to dash behind him and let the back of his neck embrace the power of my knees. I evade and counter attack every punch he throws until Sagat tires himself out and fires a final tiger shot with his last breath, it causes me no harm as it flies past me and shatters the sacred Mouth of Rahu. "Jaguar Revolver", I leap over Sagat's hulking body and come down on the top of his head with furious kicks so sharp, they cut deep into his skin and he falls over like dead weight. I am the new King of Muay Thai and I love hearing the crowd chant "King Adon.. King Adon.. King Adon!"
